Observations of Wetlands Restoration at Sand Point

The ecological functioning of the restored wetlands are very apparent from personal observation of wildlife including many bird species and beavers.  The growth of the plant specimens has accelerated from the original open vistas during the first cultivation period to now when dense undergrowth and a tree canopy has surrounded the ponds and wetlands.
